BUSINESS/COMMERCIAL

Business Services

Businesses require legal advice and services for a variety of issues ranging from formation, personnel matters, insurance and risk assessments, real estate transactions, contract drafting, contract negotiation, among many other issues. Our goal is to invest long term to understand and anticipate future business and legal needs.

Litigation

Litigation can come about for various reasons when wrongful acts are committed against business entities or an individual's business interest. Most often these bad acts are intentional but sometimes due to negligence or recklessness. Businesses that are financially injured through the intentional or negligent act of another business or individual may seek monetary damages and/or injunctions ordering the defendant to cease its unlawful activities. This includes trademark infringement, unfair business practices, "lemon law" matters, insurance bad-faith, breach of contract or fraud. Also, your business interests can be the target of competitors, unhappy customers, investors, and others who believe they have suffered losses. We represent businesses in matters involving, but not limited to, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, copyright infringement, tortious interference with contract or business, and unfair competition.
